Small Businesses Issue in Mauritius
Mauritius Sub-Saharan Africa is a
small island in the country with small businesses in which less than 20 people
have been created, which gradually affects the country's economic development.
Many people who were recently unemployed, have found employment in this area.
There is a lot of help offered by the government through the Small Enterprises
and Handicrafts Development Authority (SAHADA), which is now known as SMAA who
are ready to set up a new business in the country.
However, these small businesses
have to face problems like lack of human resources, lack of management skills,
lack of credit, corruption and lack of infrastructure. These 70% of the
businesses do not remain in the first year of their existence, whereas after 5
years after the market's deep analysis of this report, the World Bank has to
have an account.
Lack of Available Human Resources
In Mauritius, most people prefer to
work in the famous company's offices instead of those small industries, which
are the status indicated by them and the benefits they have. For example, a
chef on Hilton Hotel has not been given the same benefits as a small restaurant
offer, so workers prefer to work in better paid salaries, finger profits and
recognized job-seeking organizations for job security. People see themselves
doing small work in small businesses, which they do not appreciate today.
Lack of Management Skills
The lack of management for small
business failure is an important issue. Many small business owners lack the
training to manage a business or they are not well-versed. Most administrators
do not style their leaders well and there is no proper planning, management,
leading and controlling. In addition, most businesses that have been
established can be run by their employers, for example, sole traders and
partnerships. They do not search for the market, that they are ready to assess
potential marketing strategies due to reviewing prospective clients or
marketing methods or their immorality.
Most of them are illiterate and are
unable to manage the computers or machines that are used to simplify their
business activities. Many businesses come into being with the main point of
view of profits. Business owners do not receive the respect or goal of any
employees or goals by their employees. But SMID provides training programs
for small business establishments so that they feel comfortable in the area in
which they are admitted. IT facilities have also been provided in ITBB
(Institutional and Vocational Training Board) to help the public, particularly
those in need of employment, in areas like IT, textiles, agriculture and
automotive maintenance. Being expert.
